CD Cargo put three more Vectron locomotives into operation in 2017. The order was placed as an option from the supply agreement from 2016. Locomotive 383 006 runs with the slogan “www.1vagon.cz” to advertise single wagonload traffic.
The multi-system locomotives of the 383 class have a nominal power of 6.4 MW and a maximum speed of 160 km/h. They feature ETCS Level 2 and can operate on the Czech network as well as in Slovakia, Austria, Germany, Poland, Hungary and Romania.
