Designed by Wrightbus from Northern Ireland as a successor to the old London Routemaster, the new Routemaster bus was produced specifically for the streets of London. Its modern, fully accessible, user friendly image also ticks another box as it uses the latest green technology. It is registered LTZ 1050, as used by London General on Route 11, going to Fulham Broadway. Decorated in a bright red and cream livery, the silver roof has a white masked section printed with LT50 GAG, ensuring it is easily recognisable from the air. The interior is moulded in grey with red seats and stairs. Final intricate details include the numerous passenger advice notices printed on the three sets of doors, as well as the London Transport roundel which appears in red on the advertising panel between decks.
